A foundational logic system of Phen Theory

Overview

Phen Logic (Phlogic) is the mathematical & structural logic that underpins Phen Theory & possibly the universe itself. It is a form of balanced ternary logic, but unlike traditional models it emerges directly from the projection process that brings the Phenomenon structure into being.

A phurry cat. No box, no poison

Schrodinger's Cat is a popular topic so I will also describe the special Phlogic Balanced Ternary with a cat. 

The +1 is the cats head, & the -1 is the cats tail, so of course there is a body (1) between them. 

It would be absurd to think the cat was just a floating head & tail, with its body being a 0, nothing!!. 

The Phurry cat is also like a Phurlon, it can stretch & contract that 1 body.

The Phurry Cat is a way to understand Phlogic Balanced Ternary: not +1, 0, −1  but −1, 1,+1.

If you see the cat from the front, the side or the rear, it's not 3 different cats. It's 3 observations of the 1 cat. Not 3 cat particles of a face particle, a body particle & a bum particle. Just 1 yawning, stretching Phurry cat

So what SP sees as maybe 12 cats or  more, PT sees as just 6 cats

Setting the Stage – The Unobserved State

Zero is not a midpoint on a line.... at this stage, there is no line, no space, no scale — just unexpressed potential. This is the Phen — the 0P unobserved state. It is not “nothing,” it is potential energy (No-thing) before projection. It is the Unobserved State & like dark energy or dark matter, the Phen is not hidden — it is present but unobserved. It is not a centre between opposites; it is the source from which opposites emerge.

The Projection

When observed, the Phen becomes self-conscious. That act of observation causes it to split from potential energy into Potential & Energy. One state returns to being the unobserved potential (Phen), & the other becomes the observed energy — the photon (⚟)

Potential energy becomes potential (dark) + energy (light).

The photon at this stage is not a ball — it is a 1P.

This marks the shift from a 0P Phen to a 1P projected state.

The photon then also becomes self aware & separates not by splitting, but by elongating itself.

This creates a Phield Phibre, a 2P line with two polar ends:

• A −1 end point

• A +1 end point

• And the stretched body itself is the 1.

Maybe a little weird to imagine but it's not really a point any more. just a line between 2 points (-1,+1)

This is the true balanced ternary logic of Phen Theory:

−1  ← 1 →  +1

or

⚟⁻ ← ⚟ → ⚟⁺

Unlike traditional ternary logic where 0 is the centre, Phen Logic has no midpoint fulcrum. There can't be a halfway point as at the quantum level there is nothing smaller than 1, no fractions. 

The 1 is the whole structure — the stretched photon. The ends are polarity, not parts.

If the +1 & −1 ends reunite, they don’t cancel to zero — they re-form or remain the 1 (the 1P).

& if that 1 returns to the Phen, the system collapses back into the Unobserved State.

The Spin Particle illusion

Imagine the photon as a glowing 1P ball (🥎) ejected from the Unobserved State (ΦN). It becomes self-aware the moment it is observed. But instead of breaking into pieces, it stretches — forming a 2P Phield Phibre.This stretched entity still contains 100% of the original ball — now elongated into a thread. Each end cap of this thread is one half of the original point-like source:

• One cap (P) is −1

• One cap (P) is +1

Viewed from either end, these cap points appear as two identical “particles” — but each carries opposite half-spin

This is how spin emerges in Phen Theory.

Half-spin is not an intrinsic property of isolated particles.

It is a visual effect — a result of observing opposite ends of the same stretched photon.

(Note: In Phen Theory, there are no “particles.” What we call Phenom are vector-point intersections of Phibres. They are not discrete objects but projection points that can acquire Phress.)

Phlogic Ternary Polarity

Phlogic ternary is also the carrier or container or body of Polarity. We often think of polairty as + & –. But true polarity can't occur without a body. It would be like saying that we have a North Pole & a South Pole but no planet. Even at the Quantum scale a body is needed for polarity. So thoughout PT I may refer to things such as ternary polarity or balanced ternary polarity or Phlogic Polarity etc. As every component in PT has this Phlogic Ternary Polarity

Phurlons & Scalar Logic

The Phurlon is the scalar unit of stretch between the two ends of a Phield Phibre (Stretched Photon) — similar in role to a Planck length, but stretchable. This is the foundational measurement in Phen Theory.

Unlike traditional spatial distance, length is fixed, but the distance between points on that length is flexible. That’s the role of the Phurlon. 

All Phurlons are straight between any 2 points & can only bend or wobble etc at those junctions never between

PBT Summary

PBT is not about binary contrast, instead it introduces a grey area within a new balanced ternary system.

• ΦN — the Unobserved State of potential energy (not zero, but source)

• 1 — the complete Projection Phibre (the stretched photon)

• −1 / +1 — the end caps of a 2P projection, with mirrored "half-spin"

Merging +1 & −1 doesn’t create zero — it restores the 1. Then merging the 1 (Photon light energy) with ΦN (Potential) returns to the Phen unobserved state as potential energy waiting to emerge again 

Phlogic Calculations of the Cosmological Ratios

For Baryonic Matter, Dark Matter, & Dark Energy in the Universe/Phenomena (Rounded to 2 decimal places)

• Matter (Baryonic & Dark) = 33.33% (7/21st)

  • • Baryonic (Regular matter) = 14.29% (3/21st) of matter 

      • • or 4.76% (1/21st) of the Universe/Phenomena

    • Dark (Unseen Matter)= 85.71% (18/21st) of matter 

      • • or 28.57% (6/21st) of the Universe/Phenomena

• Dark Energy = 66.67% (14/21st)

A special note: In PT we use a special Phlogic balanced ternary (PBT) that is (−1, 1, +1). But to make it easier for you to understand how the middle is dark & not observable, we will use 0 in the place of the 1 just for the calculations below (−1, 0, +1). 

• (+1) represents observable & Visible matter. 

• (−1) represents observable but Dark matter. 

• (0) represents non-observable Dark matter

Explanation for Dark Energy (66.67%)

1. All Phenomena is ternary (−1, 0, +1), & contains 100% of the potential energy released from the Phen

2. Only 1/3rd (33.33%) of ternary states are observable as Matter Energy (Baryonic & Dark) (+1)

3. & 2/3rds (66.67%) of ternary states remain unobserved as Dark Energy (−1, 0)

Explanation for Matter (33.33%)

The Phenomena's (Universe's) matter is all in a ternary state (−1, 0, +1) & made up of:

• • • 6 Phenom (6 x 3 ternary states = 18) & 

    • 1 Phen (unobserved) (1 x 3 ternary states = 3)

    • Phenomena = 21 states

Only 1/3rd (7/21st / 33.33%) of the universe's ternary states are observable as matter. The 3 x (+1) states

Baryonic Matter

(Regular matter we can see & experience) 

• • Consists of 3 visible Positive Phenom

  • Each Phenom has 3 ternary states (−1, 0, +1) = 9 states

  • of the 9 States, only 3 x (+1) are visible

  • & 6 states remain unseen:

    • • 3 x (−1) Dark states & 

      • 3 x (0) Dark states

Dark Matter 

(we feel the measurable effects of but is not visible in a regular sense, simply dark)

• Consists of the 3 Dark Negative Phenoms 

• Each Phenom has 3 ternary states (−1, 0, +1) = 9 states

• All 9 states are Dark (not visible)

Plus

• • The Phen is a "non-matter" & not observed. It has 3 dark ternary states

Total Dark states:

6 unseen Baryonic + 9 Dark matter + 3 Phen = 18 Dark Matter States

Baryonic & Dark Matter Totals

• Baryonic Matter is 3/21 or 14.29% of Matter's 33.33% of the Phenomena

  • • • or 4.76% (1/21st) of the whole Phenomena

• Dark Matter is 18/21 or 85.71% of Matter's 33.33% of the Phenomena

  • • • or 28.57% (6/21st) of the whole Phenomena

Note: Whether you substitute the Phen for its 3 Phield Phibre bodies (1), functionally it is still 3 Dark states of matter or 21 states in total & wont affect the results. The Phibre bodies or Photons are what emerge from the Phen. So they are one & the same, 3 states contained or released. 

Visualisation 

If space is made of light-bands, then stretching a band stretches the light with it. Like a rubber train on a rubber track — stretch both equally, and the time it takes to travel the track stays the same. The Phurlon is always the shortest connection between two points, even if that connection stretches. No amount of distortion changes the speed of light; it remains constant, grounded in the unchanging traversal time.

Phurlon & Phlash: Redefining Space & Time

In Phen Theory, we replace fixed external constants like Planck time & Planck length with internal, projection-based units that arise naturally from the structure of the universe itself. These units are defined not by background fields, but by the rhythm & geometry of projection.

Note on Space:

In Phen Theory, space is not a substance or structure. It is an eternal, passive void — a null container with no properties. All observable structure emerges from projection via Phenomena (ΦΝ∞), not from the expansion of “space” itself. This is a key departure from traditional physics & underpins the behaviour of Phurlons & Phlashes described below

Core Principle:

Phenomena (Universe) is stretchable. Time is projection. Light defines both.

Phurlon (⟷)

The Phurlon is the stretchable unit of projected Phenomena. It is not a rigid ruler like Planck length. Instead, it is the elastic light-band that connects two Phenom (vector points) within the Phenomenon. This connection is formed by a Phibre — a 2P line — that can stretch under tension or compress from lack of tension.

The Phurlon represents the shortest active connection in projected Phenomena, but it is not fixed. It can lengthen or contract depending on tension, making it more like a structural spring than a rigid stick.

Photon (⚟)

When we talk about Photons, it also sometimes includes the Red, Green & Blue Phenom or Phibres as they are all just flavours of the same thing

A Photon in Phen Theory is not a particle moving through space, but the act of Phenomena being revealed. It is the projection itself. Every time a Photon is emitted, it projects a Phield Phibre (←→), forming a stretchable scalar link - a Phurlon (⟷). It is not bringing a distance into existence, but the structural tension path that can be measured.

Phlash (⚟ⱽ)

A Phlash is the most fundamental act of emergence — the instant a Phield Phibre is emitted, revealing one stretchable unit of space (a Phurlon). It is the shortest possible unit of time in Phen Theory. Each Phlash defines one projection frame — a single discrete unit in the unfolding rhythm of the universe.

This replaces the need for Planck time. There is no background clock. Time is internally defined by the cadence of Phlashes:

Time (T) = 1⟷ per 1⚟ⱽ

Phlash Cycle (⚟ᶜ or c)

The Phlash Cycle defines the tempo of the universe — the rhythm at which Phlashes occur. It is akin to the speed of light in SP, but is not a velocity. It is the constant structural rate of projection itself.

⚟ᶜ = ⟷ / ⚟ⱽ

In the native frame of Phen Theory, the Phlash Cycle is fixed at 1. That is, one Phurlon is projected per Phlash:

Phlash Cycle = 1

This constancy preserves c without relying on fixed distances or durations. Even as space stretches (⟷ varies), the Phlash remains invariant — maintaining projection rhythm.

Analogy: The Projector

Think of the Phen as a film projector in a dark room. It does not emit time or space. It allows projection to occur. Each Phlash is one act of projection — a discrete scalar event (⚟ⱽ). Each Phield Phibre is a line of light from the source. What appears on the screen (Philter) is a Phenom.

You don’t move through time. Time is the sequencing of Phlashes.

What we perceive as continuity is just a high Flash Rate of projection events — & we are unable to see the gaps between frames.

Time, Tension, & Observation

Now, stretch your mind a little further.

We’ve said before: Phurlons are stretchable, but traversal time is constant. One Plank (pun intended) still takes the same step — no matter how far it’s been stretched or compressed. So if you were walking across a region of dense Phenomenon, you’d still be moving one Plank at a time.

But if I’m observing you from a relaxed, spread-out region of the Phenomena — your steps would appear absurdly fast. To me, you’re warping through space. Meanwhile, if you look back at me, I’d seem to be crawling, barely moving at all.

Time, then, is not a universal beat.

It’s a relative flow, determined by how dense or stretched your Phenomena region is compared to mine. The tighter the mesh of tension, the faster things appear to move to an external observer — not because time speeds up, but because the Phenomena is folded tighter.

This section is constantly being refined to bring clarity to the mess that is dimensional coordinate language

A new direction

Reframing Coordinates, Dimensions & Structure

Phen Theory introduces a clean alternative to the Cartesian coordinate system, replacing abstract X, Y & Z axes with a Point, Membrane & Colour-spectrum Phenomenon based model. It doesn’t just reorient space visually & structurally — it corrects the deep confusion baked into how we think about points, dimensions, & directions.

This isn’t just a semantic correction. It removes contradiction, aligns with projection logic, & allows a clean geometric foundation for further physical modelling.

More refinements will come — such as naming the 8 Philter directions — but this new "dimensional language" lays the foundation for future clarity.

Dimensional Confusion: A Structural Mess

Physics has long confused three fundamentally different ideas under a single term: “dimension.”

1. Points (used in geometry: 0D, 1D, 2D…)

2. Directions (used in space: left/right, up/down, etc.)

3. Planes, Surfaces or Spaces (used in metaphysics, geometry & cosmology)

These get jumbled together without clarity, leading to absurdities like:

• A “point” is said to be 0D, but it exists. If it exists, it’s observable. So how can it be zero of anything?

• A “line” is said to be 1D with only length. But if it has no width or height, how can it be observed or real? If it is real, what is it made of?

• A flat surface is called 2D, and yet a cube — supposedly 3D — has six of them. So does that mean it exists in 6 × 2D = 12D? Ridiculous.

These aren’t just semantic issues — they break down the logic of structure.

Phen Theory eliminates the fuzziness around dimensional language:

• Dimensional Points → Counted in P - Points (Phen, Photon, Phenom, Position)

  • • Dimensional Lines → Counted in 2P  or more - Points (Projections & Vectors etc)

• Vast Dimensional Planes → Counted in M - Membranes (Planes made from Phlatss - Phrames or Phaces)

• Dimensional Axes → Defined by B, G, R (Blue, Green, Red) Directions for single axes or 

  • • P, O, L, E (Plum, Orange, Lime & Emergence) Directions for double axes Planes (Phrames)

The PSS (Point & Symmetry System)

Phen Theory resolves this confusion by replacing vague dimensional talk with a clean, countable system of Points (P). A point isn’t 0D. If it’s observed, it exists. That makes it 1P. It can be dark, but if we know of its presence then its still a point even if currently not visible

A 1D line is impossible in standard physics. It has only length, so it’s both supposed to exist & be invisible. The P-system fixes this. A line is 2P. It exists between two observed points whether dark or not. No contradiction.

Points not Dimensions

• 0P = Position 

  • • without presence. Pure location

      • Perfect symmetry

• 1P = A single observable point (like a Phenom)

  • • Position & Presence

      • minimum needed for charge symmetry + -

• 2P = A line (or a Phibre ●─●)

  • • Position, presence & direction

• 3P = A triangle (or a  Phace)

  • • Position, presence, direction & area

      • minimum needed for charge, directional & area symmetry

• 4P = A square (or a  Phrame) or tetrahedron

  • • Position, presence, direction, area & volume

      • minimum needed for charge, directional, area & volume symmetry

• 5P = A Pentagon (or a Phyramid) or Pentahedron - Square based Pyramid, or triangular bipyramid

  • • Position, presence, direction, area, volume & axial polarity

      • minimum needed for charge, directional, area, volume & polar symmetry

• 6P = A hexagon (or a Phenomenon) or Octahedron / Square Bipyramid

  • • Position, presence, direction, area, volume, axial polarity & radial (Centre to vertex) vector symmetry

      • minimum needed for charge, directional, area, volume, polar & radial symmetry

And in the  PT or UCT Phenomenon there are 2 main ways to differentiate points:

1. As Polarities of the 3 main generational colour ternaries – Blue plus (B+), Blue minus (B-), Green plus (G+), Green minus (G-), Red plus (R+), Red minus (R-)

2. Or as Colours if wishing to avoid the + & – notation – Cyan (C), Blue (B), Green (G), Yellow (Y), Magenta (M), Red (R)

Both notation systems are in effect identical as the colour pairs are to be thought of as positive & negative versions of the same colour. The later version is just more friendly to those that wish to use colours instead of symbols (+,-). A way to think of it using Green generation as an example is that the Phibre is green & the yellow end is minus the blue (G–) & the (G+) is like green plus more blue. In the visible spectrum blue radiation is higher energy and results in a perceptually brighter green even though our experience with subtrctive paint style colour mixing would make us think that its a darker green. so G+ can be thought of as around peak human sensitivity around the 555-560nm wavelength of electromagnetic spectrum. I hope to precisely map the colour spectrum using the phenomenon structure & spectrum degrees that are a work in progress over on Universal Colour Theory. 

Note: 

A basic understanding of the difference between additive & subtractive colour mixing will help your understanding & don't worry I often get them mixed up, like using green & red as part of mixing orange in additive colour doesn't seem intuitive

Axis Directions not Dimensions

We use the Phenomenon map as directional reference in PT

These are no longer 3 dimensions, they are simply 3 Axes or generations

Axes: (These form the Phield as well as the Phenomenal Generations)

Axis polar point pairs of Phenom form the equivalent of the XYZ in Cartesian coordinates but are more intuitive based on the colours of the UCT Phenomenon

• Left - Right / side-to-side Axis

  • • X  – in Cartesian is: Blue / B  – in PT

• Up - down Axis

  • • Y  – in Cartesian is: Green / G – in PT

• Forward - backward Axis

  • •  Z  – in Cartesian: Red / R – in PT

Phlats not Dimensions

In Phen Theory, we replace “dimension” in relation to surface planes with precise structural terms based on how many Points (P) define a flat surface: 3P or more = A Phlat — a general collective term for any flat structure made from 3 or more Points

eg. a triangle (Phace) is not a 2 dimensional plane/surface, it's a 3P Phlat. A square or diamond (Phrame) is not a 2 dimensional plane/surface, it's a 4P Phlat

POLEs not Dimensions

A Phrame (4P) is a square or diamond-shaped internal projection plane, each aligned to a specific POL direction Plum, Orange, Lime & E (Emergence) being the centre where all 3 intersect

These are what are normally referred to as the 3 Dimensional planes, But have been replaced with a much more logical & visual system by imagining the colours or temperatures mixing

Membranes not Dimensions

What we often call “dimensions” — vast planes of 2D surface — are really Membranes. A membrane is a tiled expanse of Phlats (Phrames or Phaces), made from structured P.

• 1M = One membrane (all Phlats - Phrames or Phaces along a shared Plane)

A membrane is not a dimension in the cardinal sense. It is a surface made of structural units, not an abstract extension. There is an incalculable number of membranes in the Phenomena

Space is not Dimensions

A speculative concept for Phlogic Computation with the Phenomenon

A simple fun visualisation I had full of Phigits, Phits & Phytes

Imagine the quantum or smallest unit of data is 1 singular object (a Phenom) in 3 states (digits) those states of data I call Phigits (they don’t like being still). 

A Phigit is the smallest unit of anything, any number, any object etc. they have no Phractions (1/2 or 3/5ths etc). 

They can spin & Phlip but they are a singular object & always a variation of 1 (-1, 1, +1) never a zero because they are whole. The only other state is off or not calculable or observable. No zero state just null void no-thing, no-1

The 3 Phigits arrange into 3 combination isosceles triangles, what I call Phaces. The various Phace identities formed from combinations of Phigits are balanced ternary bits (Trits). What I call Phits of data

In the same way the Phaces arrange the Phigits structurally into Phits — The phenomenon is the arrangement or entanglement as a voxel packet (Byte) of those 8 Phaces. What I call a Phyte of data. Note: Phenomenon are square bipyramids (squat octahedrons) of perfect stackability 

This Phen balanced ternary computational device – The Phenomenon could be described as a 3 Phigit, 8 Phit, Phyte

Far more rich in data than a binary digit 8 bit byte of 256 combinations.

Now I'm not good with math but it seems that a Phenomenon Phyte is 6561 combinations in effectively the same unit “space” of compute or packet of information. 

& if I had a safe of finite space to store my information, then I’d be a lot more data rich if I packed it with Phenomenon Phytes of data not Bytes. 

& the best part is Phenomenon are square bipyramids (squat octahedrons) in shape so they stack neatly with NO wasted space (if some are rotated). They can even Phractally nest. 

It’s like choosing to store your wealth by filling your safe with chairs 🪑 instead of neatly stacked Gold Square Bipyramid Bullion

& if you look to nature you’ll see it’s decided to store most of its wealth using this Square Bipyramid Phenomenon structure. From chemicals to crystals, there is a vast array of phenomenon shaped structures & lattices & matrices
