Imagine the quantum or smallest unit of data is 1 singular object (a Phenom) in 3 states (digits) those states of data I call Phigits (they don’t like being still). A Phigit is the smallest unit of anything, any number, any object etc. they have no Phractions (1/2 or 3/5ths etc). They can spin & Phlip but they are a singular object & always a variation of 1 (–1, 1, +1) never a zero because they are whole. The only other state is off or not calculable or observable. No zero state just null void no-thing, no-1
The 3 Phigits arrange into 3 combination isosceles triangles, what I call Phaces. The various Phace identities formed from combinations of Phigits are balanced ternary bits (Trits). What I call Phits of data
In the same way the Phaces arrange the Phigits structurally into Phits. The phenomenon is the arrangement or entanglement as a voxel packet (Byte) of those 8 Phaces. What I call a Phyte of data. Note: Phenomenon are square bipyramids (squat octahedrons) of perfect stackability
This Phen balanced ternary computational device The Phenomenon could be described as a 3 Phigit, 8 Phit, Phyte. Far more rich in data than a binary digit 8 bit byte of 256 combinations with all the Phenom & Phaces etc in superposition states like a wavefunction waiting to collapse
Now I'm not good with math or computing or even know the right terminolgy to describe what I see, as this was just a vision I had, but it seems intuitively to me that a Phenomenon has an incredible amount of quantum "combinations" in effectively the same unit “space” of compute or packet of information when compare to a standard byte. If I had a safe of finite space to store my information, then I’d be a lot more data rich if I packed it with Phenomenon Phytes of data not Bytes.
The best part is Phenomenon are square bipyramids (squat octahedrons) in shape so they stack neatly with NO wasted space (if some are rotated). It’s like choosing to store your wealth by filling your safe with chairs 🪑 instead of neatly stacked Gold Square Bipyramid Bullion. & if you look to nature you’ll see it’s decided to store most of its wealth using this Square Bipyramid Phenomenon structure. From chemicals to crystals, there is a vast array of phenomenon shaped structures & lattices & matrices
Now if we consider that each Phace in the ternary is like the potential quantum state that that holds all possibilities until it collapses / compresses / condenses at the Phenomenons vertices into a Phenoms of –1, 1, +1 then we can see how we may be able to create a 3 Phigit, 8 Phit, Phyte - Balanced Ternary Quantum Computing Logic. A type of quantum crystal matrix computer
Hopefully I can clarify my muddy description soon as I better visualise how it functions, but maybe this might help spark an idea for someone working in a related field
