An internal decoding of cognition — the structured organisation of thought within the mind

Mind decodes Ideas — the scalar structure of thought and how it forms, projects, and acts within us.

It tells us not just what we think, but how we transform those thoughts into action, imagination, and skill.

UIT belongs to the RADIO generation, paired with Sound (external vibration).

Together, they map the inward and outward flow of cognition — what is formed inside and what is expressed.

This theory, like all six Universal Theories, is part of the 6+1 decoding system that radiates from the central Phen — the unobservable projector of Manifest Reality

Idea Pair Generations

Each Thought type belongs to a directional pairing just like in Universal Colour Theory

Bright Generation ☀

Imagination (+) (vivid) (Top - Y+) → visualisation, invention, projection - The unknown
Knowledge (−) (rich) (Bottom - Y-) → facts, understanding, stored information - The Known

Cool Generation ❄

Skill (+) (vivid) (right front - B+) → practiced ability, technique, output - The performed
Experience (−) (rich) (left back - B-) → memory, observation, embodied knowledge - The lived

Warm Generation ♨

Action (+) (vivid) (back right - R+) → doing, applying, physical execution - The how

Structure

Each generation balances one vivid and one rich flavour

Rich = concentrated cognition (inward, grounding)
Vivid = projected cognition (outward, activating)

Polarity

Just like the ProPhrame & NegPhrames in the Phenomenon

This system reflects both culinary tradition and scalar physics:

The Positive Phrame triplet is: Skill, Imagination, Action = expressive, energising, externalised cognition
The Negative Phrame triplet is: Experience, Knowledge, Intent = absorptive, grounding, internal cognition

Definitions

UIT divides cognition into six fundamental “idea-types,” each forming a polar pair with its complement. These are not psychological traits — they are cognitive roles within a scalar structure. Each pair expresses a single concept split across inward and outward directions.

UIT proposes that:

Ideas = cognitive structures encoded with purpose and polarity
Mind = decoder of these internal scalar structures
Consciousness = the Phen-like projector behind all thought

Ideas, like all Phen Theory maps, are scalar decoding systems built from the Phenomenon. They exist not in isolation, but as one of six universal decoding processes emerging from the central Phen. Together with Colour, Flavour, Sound, Shape, and Scent, they form a complete system of Manifest Reality.
